How to evolve Gimmighoul

Ghimmighoul that is not notoriously popular among players of Pokémon: Red and Blue are some of the least famous Pokémon series. Their evolutionary path can often be puzzling, but you'll have to follow through with both types if you want to catch 'em all! You will, naturally, come across two types of Gimmighoul in the video game: types that provide you with Gimmighoul coins, and actual Gimmighoul can you find.

Catching Gimmighoul

Gimmighoul can occasionally be challenging to catch. In certain battles, you'll be able to catch them on your first try, but in others, they can be resistant to common Pokeballs while still being very simple to take out. Start by estimating how much damage your attacks inflict by assaulting with weaker normal-type attacks to make sure you don't instantly KO them. You can gradually reduce their health bar till it turns red after you acquire a sense of how much damage you are doing to it.

Any form of Pokeball can be used to capture them from there. A standard Pokeball will usually suffice. However, if you are having trouble catching them with a good or normal ball, try switching to a premier ball; that ought to work. Try again with your regular Pokeballs until it sticks if you don't have one. Make sure you have at least 10 Pokeballs on you before going in search of this Pokemon because it can take several attempts to catch them. Using a lightning blast to paralyze them first might also increase your chances of capturing them. You'll quickly catch your first Gimmighoul if you're persistent.

After acquiring 999 Gimmighoul Coins and leveling up, evolves into Gholdengo

Once you have 999 Gimmighoul Coins from slaying or capturing Gimmighoul in the wild, then leveling the Gimmighoul, it will transform into Gholdengo.

The coins will be used up when the Gimmighoul transforms into a Gholdengo, thus you'll need to collect another 999 coins to evolve another Gimmighoul.

Evolution of Gholdengo

Gholdengo is not like most Pokemon in that it cannot be caught in the wild. You'll need to gather 999 Gimmighoul Coins before you can add them to your Pokedex. They can be found in a few different forms throughout Paldea, with the Roaming Gimmighoul Form—those outside of a chest—being the most common. Additionally, though they are less common, you can occasionally uncover Chest Form Gimmighouls, which will reward you with extra cash. Once you have amassed all 999, your Gimmighoul only needs to be leveled up once to transform into Gholdengo.
