| Description: |
Who doesn't enjoy a good Fucik parade march every now and then? uncle mikey wants to know, but he doesn't want to hear about it. Even though it don't beat Sousa, Mississippi River, Op. 161, by Julius Ernst Wilhelm Fucik (a Czech composer, who also composed Entrance of the Gladiators, aka Thunder and Blazes, found on this site as "Circus Music for the Zoo") establishes that one does not necessarily need to be an American to write a patriotic piece of music about America. Nothing like a July review in Blue-Whites at quick pace to make you feel alive. Happy Birthday, U.S.A.! God bless and keep you free.
