Hello, my name is Alison, I am 19 years old and Iâ??m from Florida. I was originally born in the amazing state of Massachusetts. I had a liver and kidney transplant (x3) 13 years ago due to many complications. I was born with ARPDK (which is a kidney disease) which was the reasoning that I needed the transplant in the beginning. It affected my liver which caused me to need both a liver and a kidney transplant at the age of 6 years old. Due to that I believe that I am here for a reason and I am just waiting for god to show me the right path to take. I am Jewish and Catholic with both of these beliefs. I was baptized 3 times and I have a Hebrew name which I have thought of changing my real name to. Within these medical surgeries and Hospital Stays and being sick so much, I always saw my guardian angels when I used to dream as I was a little girl. As I have gotten older and have had some normal teenage issues to deal with I have actually seen Angels with my very eyes. I hope to one day be able to learn to talk to them and use them to help me to the path I am destined to take. Some people might say that Iâ??m a City girl, but Iâ??m a Southern Belle in my heart. People tend to say that I'm Old Soul. I am Poet, Activist for my causes that I believe in as far as organizations go, Transplantation, Animal Cruelty and Starlight Children's Foundation along with Make a Wish). Sadly, I havenâ??t found the right guy yet to sweep me off my feet, so I tend to be a bit of a Hopeless Romantic, Iâ??m a Believer that anything is possible and Miracles can happen, Iâ??m a Fighter and have been since the day I was born and a Lover. I will fight for what I stand for. In a few years I plan to go to college to be a social worker for chronically Ill teens like myself. I am on a journey with an unknown destination.
