1. It says my number is on another account!
If you get this message, it means your number is already assigned to an account. To retrieve your previous account information, click here. If you choose to retrieve your information via email, be sure to enter the correct email address. If you’re not sure what email address you used, you can also choose to have your username sent to you via text message.

Still have questions? You can reach us via the Support/Feedback page or email support@phonezoo.com. We try our best to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Meanwhile, feel free to check out the rest of Phonezoo. Thanks!

2. I didn’t get my text message verification code.
If you didn’t receive your text message, you can resend it by going to the My Zoo tab and clicking "Verify Now". Carriers other than Verizon and Alltel can skip this step and just use the WAP method to get your free ringtones/photos:

On your computer:

  • Go to MyZoo, Select "Edit" next to My Phone.
  • Select "WAP" as ringtone delivery method.

On your phone:

  • Open an Internet connection on your phone.
  • Go to the Phonezoo WAP page at m.phonezoo.com
  • Login to your Phonezoo account (same username & password that you use on the website)
  • Bookmark the page to avoid having to log in every time.
  • Select the ringtone you want to download from MyZoo.

This step can also be skipped for all carriers if using the "Save to PC" button, instead of "Send to Phone". Still have questions? You can reach us via the Support/Feedback page or email support@phonezoo.com. We try our best to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Meanwhile, feel free to check out the rest of Phonezoo. Thanks!

3. I got the text, but I can't apply the ringtone/photo.
Try using a ringtone that is no longer than 20 seconds. The software on many phones does not allow you to set a file longer than 20 seconds as a ringtone.
If it says you do not have access to the site when accessing the link, that is a message from your carrier. Please try using the "Save to PC" button instead of "Send to Phone".
4. My Sprint phone is not working with Phonezoo
Sprint has recently updated many of their phone’s firmware over the air. This update has disabled the ability of these phones to download tones and photos from Phonezoo. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way at this time to bypass this.

There is another method that does not require internet on your phone. If your phone supports Bluetooth or Cable or SD card, you can still get content from Phonezoo through one of those methods. Please click here for additional information on how to use Bluetooth to download content.

5. Is Phonezoo really free?
We do not charge users for our service. Creating, storing or sharing ringtones or photos on Phonezoo does not cost anything . Keep in mind that only non-copyrighted material can be shared. For the content marked copyright, we ask you to upload your copy of the song. We make money when people click on advertisements on our site and buy products from our preferred vendors.

Phonezoo does not charge for this service, but standard or other charges may apply from your carrier.  Please check your plan with your carrier to make sure.

We send the content to your phone over your wireless carrier’s network which is very convenient. No cables, no bluetooth setup, etc.

So, to use Phonezoo in most cases you need to have text messaging and internet (in the case of Verizon Wireless, PIX messaging) access on your phone. You pay normal carrier charges for the use of those services.

Still have questions? You can reach us via the Support/Feedback page. We try our best to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Meanwhile, feel free to check out the rest of Phonezoo. Thanks!

6. I don't have Internet on my phone?
If you are a Verizon user, we send you the content using multimedia (PIX) messages, so no internet is needed.

If your phone supports Bluetooth or Cable or SD card, you can still get content from Phonezoo through one of those methods. Please click here for additional information on how to use Bluetooth to download content.

For AT&T and T-Mobile users, you also have the option to send it to your phone as a multimedia message. To do this, click the "Save to PC" button after clicking the title of the tone. Then follow the instructions displayed to email it from your computer to your phone using the special email address provided. No internet or email is needed on your phone to receive the message.
